The survey was conducted at the suggestion of an in-house OPAC working party which I convene, since here at Derby we had all agreed that we ought to be cataloguing these resources, but had made no further progress due to lack of staff. Breakdown of replies I received replies from 12 universities, both old and new, using a variety of computer systems.
