How can filtering options help focus on sets of related tag?

'Filter by term' can help narrow the focus of tag overview pages so they present sets of tags related to your specific interests.

As illustrated below (in keywords overview),  you can set up a filter to focus on 'rdf' so that only terms including the string 'rdf' are displayed:

  • 'rdf'
  • 'rdfa'
  • 'rdfs'

As this example illustrates, 'Filter by term' can accept partial strings.

To extend this further, you can also use this same filter to look for two (boolean 'OR') strings. For example, you could have this filter look for 'semantic rdf'. In that case, the filter list results such as:

  • 'semantic web'
  • 'semantic technologies'
  • 'rdf'
  • 'rdfa'
  • 'rdfs'

By using partial or multiple strings (boolean 'OR'), you can adjust filtering options in tag overviews to narrow or expand focus.
