Lithic Core 1404 Chert "wadi stone" which has been modified for the striking of long "Canaanean" type blades. The stone had been split and a striking platform created at the broken, flattened end perpendicular to the blade scars. The chalk cortex shows on parts of the blade core. This core was found on the floor of an Early Bronze III house (Stratum XIV), along with other manufactured stone blades.
