In the eLib section, we present descriptions of the progress of several projects, as written by people within those projects

*EEVL : Linda Kerr introduces a project from the Access to Network Resources section of the eLib programme which takes a holistic approach to providing access to high quality on-line engineering resources.
*Eurotext : In these days of European integration, Freda Carroll, Eurotext project co- ordinator, describes a project that will make European Union documents accessible online.
*CAIN : Martin Melaugh reports on a site devoted to the Northern Ireland conflict.
*SCOPE : Leah Halliday believes there is SCOPE for a major shift in the publication of study texts.
* Netskills : Jill Foster brings us an update of one of the flagship eLib projects, which aims to train many thousands of HE staff on various aspects of networks and the Internet. This article is now updated and available in issue 10.
