Qik was founded in June 2006 to enable mobile phone users to share live video with their friends, family and followers. The first Qik service was launched in 2008, and is now available in over 160 countries on almost 200 different phones across the Android, iPhone, Symbian, Blackberry and Windows Mobile platforms.
