The INLEI project is a largely qualitative investigation, comprising twenty case studies in a variety of institutions and in-depth internal reviews of the procedures and practices of The UHI Millenium Institute and The University of Bradford. The qualitative data has been supported by quantitative data from questionnaires. With guidance from the Project Steering Group the team has focused on the impact of networked learning in six key areas: - institutional development; - quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation prcedure; - staffing and collaboration; - the development of materials; - infrastructure and support services; - learning and teaching.
