This project will firstly be scoping and developing an application profile for images. This would support the effective management and deposit of Images within a repository which would then aid consistency in retrieval. The project will need to build consensus in this area, to agree (with the community) an optimum solution, and then to develop an application profile with the associated guidelines. The project will also need to develop and implement a community acceptance plan to promote take-up and embedding for the deliverables and to address continued take up (sustainability).
