The JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) in partnership with the RSLP (Research Support Libraries Programme) is issuing a tender for the procurement of a Serials Union Catalogue service. The JISC provides national infrastructure and services to all of the universities, higher education and further education colleges of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Attached is a draft of the tender specification (Word) for the proposed pilot service. A final version will be sent to shortlisted bidders following receipt and evaluation of requests to participate. It is envisaged that the contract will operate for a total of 4 years, including an initial period of 2 years to establish the service.
