Planning and Developing a Teaching Pack for a Unit of Work for a Primary Age Group

Abstract

This unit of work has been especially designed for a Year 3 class in Mitcham, South London. These children have had no prior experience with desi~ and technology so I therefore had to think carefully when devising my unit of work. The National Curriculum and the QCA documents state that children in Year 3 should be learning about structures so I decided to focus my unit of work around this topic.
