Helen is the Academic Services Manager (job-share) at Loughborough University Library where she is responsible, since 2015, for overseeing the work of the Academic Services Team. Her previous role in the University was as an Academic Librarian liaising with staff in the department of English and Drama, including teaching on modules, collection development and general library support for students and staff. She has a particular interest in research support including researcher development. She has previously been a committee member of the European Information Association as well as various BIALL standing committees, when she was a law librarian, and has contributed to a number of library and information science publications.
